Our New Store!

This summer we opened a retail storefront in downtown Munising.  Our new roam retail space is located at 114 Elm Avenue.  We’ve stocked up on all the roam classics and favorites, and we’ve added Yooper Shirts, Northwear Co., Stormy Kromer and Rapid River Knife Works.  

Opening next door to our location on December 1st, Down Wind Sports has iced a deal to set up in Munising permanently.  Going into their 28th season with Michigan Ice Fest, it’s great to have them as neighbors in town! 

 

The space was renovated back to its early glory days; tin ceilings painted in copper tone, original hardwood floors sanded and coated.  The south wall of the store showcases hundreds of old items recovered during the restoration process; from early 1900’s mannequins to hand-written business ledgers from “Royal Outfitters” in the 1930’s.  The space defines ‘experiential retail’ – giving you a look back in time.  

 

We’re setting up some serious Black Friday deals, so stay tuned!
